Silicone trays suck! They seem like a good idea, but are difficult to unload. I have yet to find one I like.

With a conventional plastic tray, you just twist it and the ice falls out. With a silicone, you throw the f**ker out the window and promise yourself never to buy one again.

I get nice thick blocks from mine very convenient last loooong time so cold.
