lol. They are probably the most ethical retailer around.

Want a loophole? Get a friend to buy you some Costco gift cards, smallest available denomination (which used to be $25 per card). Your gift card is now your entry pass. When you want to buy something, show the checkout person and ask them to ring you up as a non-member (used to be member 99). Pay using your card and they'll let you use a different card to pay the remainder.

Serious Karens complaining about showing card at the entrance. It takes me all of 2 seconds to scan my card as I walk in. Just have your card out before you get to the scanner. Bet ya'll the same ones that complain about showing receipt at the door too

Costco has better stuff but is a nightmare to shop at, Sam's Club with Scan and Go is the best shopping I've ever experienced.

i have learned many moons ago you can also just scan ur QR on the app under membership (which i usually have open as im scanning for things on sale anyways). i dont look for a person asking to see my card i simply put that QR in front of scanners at door and as long as i hear the beep i keep walking zero help needed, its great! ya keep the non paying trespassers out, i agree. We pay a lot for our memberships
