Now I'm using this with a trimmer if it's been a few days.

I have not.
The Norelco didn't do it, but it's been years since I used it.
I disliked the switch they pulled on my last model (8900x I think) where the shaving head was redesigned and became louder and didn't shave as close, so avoided them since then.

While I wish that I could have scored any of the cheaper prices that y'all mentioned, I'm happy I got mine when I did and hope it'll last a long while before I get the itch to see what other marketing these folks can tempt me with
