Google Fi's 50 percent off promo is a strong low-cost option for multi-line T Mobile service, with reports of solid coverage, good priority, and smooth switching from other carriers. The plan can be especially appealing if you want watch or tablet lines included at no extra data charge, and the higher tier adds international roaming data. The main catches are that Apple Watch is not supported, taxes and fees still apply, and the discount is targeted to port ins and can be finicky at activation. It looks best for Android users who can get all lines activated on time.

Can you still port in and purchase a device from the fi store? Without losing your 12 month discount of course.

1. Are they using T-Mobile network? and prioritize ?

2. Any International deal for travels (such as 2 weeks in Europe, etc. )? like how much a month or per GB? or pay per use or per day (such as AT&T $12/day), or Verizon?

Does Fi have good data speeds? I tether to 5 other devices and T-Mobile is good for me, but the data limit Is appealing.

if you are looking for TW, then check Visible especially if you have just single line. They are offering 1 year prepaid on their top plan for $225. If you have chase/amex offer then there is another $25 discount. And there are some CB site like CAP ONE or Ratatata which are offering $40 to $80 CB.
Good for you! For me C1=$11.50, R=$30
Oops, never mind- those were for Visible.
Nothing on either for GFi

Can you get just this for Apple Watch?
This is Google as in Android and they make the Pixel Watch, so why would the offer or support a horrible brand like Apple? I wouldn't if the other company was a competitor!

For new customers who take this deal now, what will happen if they add new lines to their plan in the future? Will the costs of new lines be the same as this current deal or at the normal price?

I have never used Google fi before and currently have Google voice only. I am out of the US until late January. I have a few questions:
  1. Can I activate my google fi plan while I am abroad? If so, what are the steps to do this? Sounds like many people are having trouble activating this using vpn while abroad.
  2. Can i transfer my google voice number to google fi during activation or after?
  3. What happens if i am unable to activate my google fi plan given i am outside the US, will i get charged for the first month or will there be no charges and the purchase cancelled?

I'm also seconding USMobile. I recently switched to them from ATT. Biggest plus for me is able to add another data 'line' with another carrier and easily swap between the two when service is bad on one and good on the other.

I might be an edge case but there are areas that Verizon is superior in and my office for example that has terrible service but has ATT repeaters. I think I'm going to be hard pressed to not have the ability to easily swap between carriers while still being able to receive calls/texts on either network to my primary phone
How does this "line" swapping work? Is it automatic when one carrier has no service? Are both "lines" linked to the same phone number? Thx. Smilie
Trying to find the best phone service deal. Can switch up to 5 users right now. Considering Visible, US Mobile deal, T-Mobile 4 new iPhone 17's deal. All are iPhone users.
