Google Fi's 50 percent off promo is a strong low-cost option for multi-line T Mobile service, with reports of solid coverage, good priority, and smooth switching from other carriers. The plan can be especially appealing if you want watch or tablet lines included at no extra data charge, and the higher tier adds international roaming data. The main catches are that Apple Watch is not supported, taxes and fees still apply, and the discount is targeted to port ins and can be finicky at activation. It looks best for Android users who can get all lines activated on time.

Any idea when this deal will expire? And can we port only 3 numbers and get 1 new number? Thanks for the help!

This is Google as in Android and they make the Pixel Watch, so why would the offer or support a horrible brand like Apple? I wouldn't if the other company was a competitor!
Google also makes pixel phone and google fi support iPhone. I was just trying to confirm if the watches as standalone are supported or not.

Help !! I kindof messed up, rather than signing as family plan, I signed up as individual. I haven't started the activation. I don't see a way to cancel the order.
When I am trying to add people, it is not showing the discount. Is there a way to add family members to the plan with discount?

Does this mean adding just 1 line to an existing 4 line plan gives the discount? If so, then adding a line that won't even get used would save money over having no discount.

For new customers who take this deal now, what will happen if they add new lines to their plan in the future? Will the costs of new lines be the same as this current deal or at the normal price?
new lines wont have the deal.

damn, paying 27 a month right now for google fi. How can I get this deal? transfer my number out to tello and then transfer it back on a new google account?

I'm a long time customer...

Google's (and all carriers) attitude towards existing customers is "F'em"...

Same as it ever was.... I may buy one more phone and then go elsewhere because I've been over paying for too long.

I had Google fi years ago and my only complaint which led to me cancelling was the quality of the voicemail greeting was terrible. Needing the line for business this was unacceptable. Anyone have experienced with the current greeting quality? Apparently the codec Google used to save the recorded message was very compressed.

maybe, depends on congestion, googlefi gets the same speed / priority as the top tmobile plans, USmobile is subject to congestion slowdowns. Shouldn't matter if you're in a non-congested tmo area, but could make a difference if you are.
US Mobile allows you to switch between T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon towers though. Fi is limited to prioritized T-Mobile. That's a good trade off!

Same unanswered question, does adding 1 line give a 50% reduction for the other existing 4 lines, or only the 1 new line?

Yep, I did this the other month. Set up a new Google Account then signed up for Fi on a second device with a new number to get the 50% off promo. Ported main number out of Google Fi to MobileX (a little cheaper than Tello). Then ported number back to Fi into the new account to replace the new number I had created.

You could also use your main device if you port out and delete existing Fi SIM as it's tricky to run two Fi SIMs at the same time. Also helps to uninstall and reinstall Fi app when switching Fi accounts on the same device.
