The Insta360 X4 Air bundle stands out as a lighter 360 camera package for travel and selfie stick use, with the 165 gram body drawing praise for reducing vibration and bend compared with heavier models. The free mic promo and coupon stacking add extra value, and the X4 Air is also described as having a replaceable lens. Low light and underwater performance trail the X5, and the included accessory bundle has been inconsistent, with missing selfie stick and mic reports and returns through Insta360 described as difficult.
Common Questions (3)
Yes, the code still works and can add a free Insta BT Mic to the order. It was also reported to stack with other accessory coupons, and the starter bundle may be the better value if you want an extra battery and selfie stick.
Yes. The X4 Air has a replaceable lens, though swapping it is less convenient than on the X5 and may require a dental pick plus off-brand replacement parts. The X5's glass replacement is easier and faster.
Yes. The X4 Air is 165g, while the X5 is 200g, and the lighter body can reduce selfie-stick bending and vibration on longer sticks. The X5 is also described as feeling like a heavy brick after a few seconds on a 1.5m stick.
