The Insta360 X4 Air bundle stands out as a lighter 360 camera package for travel and selfie stick use, with the 165 gram body drawing praise for reducing vibration and bend compared with heavier models. The free mic promo and coupon stacking add extra value, and the X4 Air is also described as having a replaceable lens. Low light and underwater performance trail the X5, and the included accessory bundle has been inconsistent, with missing selfie stick and mic reports and returns through Insta360 described as difficult.

  • The deal can include a free Insta BT Mic when the INRPITP coupon code applies.

  • X4 Air lenses can reportedly be replaced, which may provide a repair path if lens glass needs service.

  • The bundle may be improved by stacking coupons for other accessories beyond the initial offer.

    Carbine_

  • X4 Air can be a lighter option than X5, which may reduce selfie-stick bending and vibration during use.

    Ekus

  • Lens replacement guidance is inconsistent, because some comments warn that cracking the X4 Air lens can leave no workable replacement path.

  • The free-mic and selfie-stick bundle can arrive incomplete, with the delivered package missing listed accessories.

  • Insta360 store returns can be difficult, and return instructions may require the package to remain unopened to avoid fees.

    xrbr123

  • X4 Air may be less convenient than X5 for lens glass replacement, since X4 Air reportedly requires a dental pick and off-brand parts.

Here is my experience with Insta360 store. I have purchased x4 Air from Insta360 store. Then I have decided to buy X5 from Dell.com. I have immediately informed Insta360 via chat and asked them to cancel the order. Also from Order page - I have selected cancel and Refund. Right immediately, my order got shipped. I have sent email to customer service. Customer service replied saying this: "Upon receipt of the package, ensure that the package is un-opened and intact. Then contact us within 15 days for further instructions regarding the return process." ------ This means that they are going to charge us fees if we open the package.

Our online orders state 30 day returns. From now on - I am not going to order anything from Insta360 store. I am so angry with this store and order. I wish - I would have ordered from Amazon for hassle free retunrs.

Update: Insta360 returns are worst. They are making every effort to stop you from returning items. Never purchase again from insta360 store

X5 is significantly better in low light and under water. Also 2D action cameras are much sharper if you can frame the action ahead of time. Make sure you know what you need.
I strongly disagree. I'm on my third 360 camera and I am upgrading from X3 and after comparing the new ones I absolutely prefer X4 Air over the X5. Moving from the lightweight 140g X2 to 180g X3 I had noticed how much heavier it felt and it bent and vibrated the selfie stick. The new X5 is a whooping brick at 200g (feels very heavy on 1 .5 meter stick after a few seconds). X4 Air is a welcome return to a much more reasonable 165g.

Wouldn't recommend any 360 camera older than X5. X5 is the first model that has replaceable lenses. If you crack the lens on this X4 you are SOL.
This is not exactly true. I've owned every generation since X1 and replaced lenses on all of them. You need at least a dental pick to pop it out, and they're like $30 off brand. Crystal clear. But yes, the X5 is way easier to replace the glass. Saves 20 minutes of labor.

Code "INRPITP" got me a free Insta BT Mic. Got the code from YT creator who did review comparison. He mentioned was for first 30 users. YMMV.Edit 1: Was able to stack multiple coupons for other accessoriesEdit 2: Starter bundle makes more sense $29 for an additional battery + selfie stick
free mic code still works. thanks

I got my camera but did not come with the selfie stick or mic. The order confirmation page no longer shows those items. Anyone in same boat?
