Any pros to this over Bitwarden apart from better UI?

They know their software is really good so they hook you in with a little deal like this and then you're stuck. They never give us existing subscribers a break. I dread the day that they will bump prices and I have to switch to some alternative.

When I did a side by side test last year, Bitwarden was a lot worse at autofill on mobile. Core functionality is pretty comparable, just lots of little convenience use cases where 1pw does a better job.

Not sure if bitwarden has family support but if you want to share vaults with different family members then 1Password works flawlessly.
You get one free shared collection with the free version of Bitwarden.

Still waiting for them to do some sales on Gift Cards, but CS did tell me they do not plan to bring back $125 for $100 soon last time I asked

Been using lastpass free version for years. Why pay for this?
Unfortunately LastPass is the least secure as it was hacked so many times in recent years. Google Lastpass security breach

Yeah, I think that is gone for good. I might give them another year or two at most and then start looking at Bitwarden more closely.

Trying to decide on 1Password or Bitwarden. Would pair either password manager with a YubiKey. Will rep for constructive feedback. Thank you.

I converted from LastPass to Bitwarden years ago. YubiKey integration requires the premium plan. I think it's worth it at $10/year for the added security of a strong MFA. Importing passwords from LastPass was seamless. I've been pleased with Bitwarden, but can't speak to how it compares with 1PW.

I have the 1pass self hosted option grabdfathered in, but I find myself using apples password manager more now. Apple already has a lot of my security info and they are more secure than 1pass id imagine.

I wish they did something for existing users, but I'm not going anywhere. The service is fantastic, and for me, worth the money.

I contacted customer support a few years ago and got some sort of deal, though I can't remember what it was. I've been a customer since I think version 4 or 5.
I really like 1password, though sometimes 1password and Apple's password mechanism like to fight with each other.
