HP.com has this good entry level laptop for $499.99 as a black friday deal. it is the lowest price it has been at

the laptop posted has a

1080p 16:10p touchscreen display IPS
226v CPU
16GB ram
512GB storage drive

and if youre part of the front line heroes the prices drops to 473.99

you can also upgrade the CPU and display to OLED but it would be more expensive so

I think this deal from bestbuy.com is better for that because its cheaper

CPU performance seems to be same between the two except the iGPU is better on the 226v

The cpu on the hp.com one is only slightly better but the Walmart one has double the storage.

Walmart has 2k resolution vs 1080p of this one. For that only I would get the Walmart one. I actually ended up buying the similar one from best buy

the walmart 2k is 1920 x 1200

same resolution as this laptop

I got the walmart one and set up up yesterday. Picture does look a little off to me.
