TV is normally $2300 (sale price everywhere but Costco Model K65XR80CM2 gives 2-year warranty instead of 1-year and backlit remote instead of normal no light remote). On top of that they are giving an extra 3-year warranty for free plus giving the $100 off for "buying" the free extended warranty plus $300 off for buying a TV over $1999. Warranty does not cover burn-in but should prevent you from worrying about power supply/board failure, etc., for five years. Still very expensive for 65" and not a perfect TV, but if you had your eye on the "King of TV" and want the warranty, this is a decent deal and better than most stores (GT is $2069 with only the 1-year manufacturer warranty). This particular TV has above-average audio quality and features, but that may not matter if you have a surround sound setup.
I do admit the price jump is pretty high for this model, given its picture quality compared to cheaper options.
