Relative performance to a GTX 1650 super, or about 15% less than an RTX 3050.

You are using the woot site promotion, which can be used on anything else. The card doesn't have anything special, is not even a deal.

It would be an upgrade to my video cards which are about a decade old, but not much else. I wouldn't get anything with less than 8GB of memory these days. Put this $60 towards something better with a future.

Does not support encoding as far as I can tell, so recommend against purchasing if looking for eg jellyfin gpu

Would be a killer deal if it supported encoding (eg for jellyfin). Pass for now unless I'm mistaken

objectively a good deal ... I mean it's going for significantly less than you could buy the card used.
I just don't know who this deal is for. 4GB of VRAM significantly limits it. However I'm sure it plays incredibly well on older titles.

Placed 1 order.
I think this is a very good deal for casual gamers who only do 1080p.
About 30% higher frame rates than a GTX1650 that I am going to replace.

Could this be used for frame generation w/ Lossless Scaling? I have an older small eGPU that I was thinking about trying to get set up to try that out.

I have an old PC with a GTX 1060 3GB and a Ryzen 5 5600 that I mainly use just to play CS2. For everything else I use a much better laptop, so I don't really want to spend much on this upgrade. Do you think upgrading would be worth it?

No. The two cards are pretty comparable.
