Yes, got Amazon visa. You get 5% cash back on any amazon purchase, but you can get even more, in this case 8%, if you are okay with getting the macbook 1 about a week later(no rush shipping).

Just bought this but No-Rush shipping for me was 7% and not 8%. Have the Costco Air M4 15" for $950 (w/ 5% cash back via PayPal debit card) arriving soon , but all these arguments of M5 vs M4, better display, better sound, more ports (hdmi! lol) and most importantly for me, same weight made the difference. Also heard people running code have some throttling issues on Airs due to the passive cooling.
Need something relatively compact (14" seems just the right size) to sit on my lap while attending to my elderly mom.
Would LOVE to hear any conflicting opinions on sticking with the M4 Air 15 vs M5 Pro 14. Thanks OP!

The M4 pro has more cores and is better for multitasking and video editing. For basic work/ browsing M5 will be faster as the ssd is faster and the chip is newer. Plus one more of year of updates for M5 vs the last years M4 pro model. Just depends on your specific need. I am waiting for the M5 pro chip that should release sometime in March next year.
