Open box AirPods Pro 2 with the USB C charging case are drawing interest for the low price and easy returns, especially when the units arrive looking new. Delivered pairs have been reported with untouched tips and cable, working firmware updates, hearing test support, and even limited warranty showing in the app through 5, 28, 2026. The main concerns are condition and seller trust, with some units arriving heavily used, scratched, missing the box, or still tied to the original owner. There are also worries about warranty, counterfeit risk, and hygiene, though new tips can help. A cautious pick if the return window is doing the heavy lifting.
Shoppers wanting a low-cost trial of AirPods Pro 2, because the earbuds can arrive looking brand new and still support firmware updates and hearing tests.
Buyers who need warranty certainty, because the device may show an invalid purchase date and some comments say these may have no warranty.
Gift buyers who need a polished present, because the listing can look suspiciously cheap and some units arrive used rather than open box.
Shoppers worried about authenticity, because counterfeit concerns come up and the seller's inspection process is questioned.
