And then there are people (cough, mother in law, cough), who are simply and chronically technologically challenged, and there is no fix... fixing one issue, will simply result in another down the road. I find that 99% of all computer issues are resolved by simply shutting down and restarting, it's the first thing I ask, "Did you shut it down and restart?"... Then there's about 30 seconds of silence followed by, "Never mind".
or maybe it's that i love her so much that my brain doesn't want to get angry at her for still not knowing how to basic tech stuff after using PCs for 30+ years?
