VIP Outlet is not an Authorized Sony Retailer, so the Warranty could be an issue. They buy old and over stock items from other retailers and then resell. They offer a 90 day warranty with free returns and you can purchase an Allstate warranty as well. Thank you for the question.

It is a 2022 model. It was followed by the A80L and then the Bravia 8. I purchased an old stock LG C2 last year (at a steal) and could not happier with it. Certainly an older model so it is not for everyone. I actually like finding good deals on new, old stock. I have purchased a LG C2, Sony X93 and Sony X95 all as old stock and saved $$$$. This will be for the grandparents room. It was still a $2,500+ tv two years ago. I compare this to many other 75" or 77" i modern TVs (on RTINGS) and it was the best TV for the price.

Rtings uses old methodology for old TVs like this. If they were to update using the latest testing method that they use for new TVs these old sets wouldn't score as high
