This Klipsch Reference Premier bundle stands out as a big, high-output home theater setup with strong value for the money. The towers, center, and bookshelves are praised for immersive movie sound, loud playback, and a lively presentation that improves after break in. Pairing it with a Speedwoofer or RP 1400SW is a common fit for rounding out the system. The main cautions are the bright treble, the very large and heavy towers, and occasional finish or warranty frustrations. A solid choice if you want a full Klipsch theater and have room for it.
Common Questions (5)
The RP line can sound bright, with some listeners finding it too heavy on treble or harsh at first. It often sounds smoother after a few months of break-in, and it tends to be especially strong for movies rather than laid-back music listening.
Yes, a subwoofer is strongly recommended to complete the system. A Speedwoofer or RP-1400SW is a common pairing, and two smaller subs placed around the room can provide better bass distribution than one large sub.
The discounted bundle price is $1,499 before tax, and one checkout example came to $1,589 including tax. PayPal Pay Later does not apply once the transaction exceeds $1,500, so it may not work for this purchase.
Yes. Adorama customer service can process a $200 refund or store credit after looking up the discounted $1,499 price with the code, and the credit was said to take about 3-5 business days.
Yes. The RP-8000F II towers are about 110 lbs each and are large enough that loading them into an SUV can be difficult. The center and towers also need enough cabinet or stand space, so room fit matters more than the subwoofer size.
