This Klipsch Reference Premier bundle stands out as a big, high-output home theater setup with strong value for the money. The towers, center, and bookshelves are praised for immersive movie sound, loud playback, and a lively presentation that improves after break in. Pairing it with a Speedwoofer or RP 1400SW is a common fit for rounding out the system. The main cautions are the bright treble, the very large and heavy towers, and occasional finish or warranty frustrations. A solid choice if you want a full Klipsch theater and have room for it.

  • The bundle can deliver loud home theater performance after installation and setup work.

  • The Reference Premier line is described as immersive and well-driven by midrange AV receivers.

  • Adorama customer service reportedly honored the $1499 discount code and processed a $200 refund or credit.

  • The speakers can sound harsher at first but may improve after break-in over a few months.

  • The RP-8000F II towers are reportedly very heavy and large, which can complicate loading into an SUV.

  • PayPal Pay Later reportedly fails for this transaction because the total exceeds $1,500.

  • One RP-8000F II tower reportedly arrived missing, with a box containing only a single speaker.

  • Warranty coverage reportedly was not honored after one speaker failed within a few months.

Been waiting for this. Now to decide if I should go for this, or something from Martin Logan or SVS. Similar system from SVS is $1520.

RP speakers sound better once they're broken in. I thought they were a bit too harsh initially but after a few months it sounded much better to me. I'm still on the series 1 from a few years ago.

The floor speakers at best buy were 312.5$ each.
Not sure if this is the same model in package or an older version.

Pair of bookshelves at 212.5$

or 6.25 at $349.

Just need a center and sub, wouldn't buying seperate be much cheaper.
Those are the inferior Reference series which are always cheaper. Adorama's sale bundle is for the Reference PREMIER series.

A good deal?
Yes, I paid more for the RP-8000F II's alone a few months ago. I'm kicking myself now because I want the RP-504C II, and there haven't been any good deals on it.

What Martin Logan and SVS speakers you are referring to?

SVS Prime towers, bookshelves and center. I haven't looked at Martin Logan closely but I was told F1, C1 and B1 system should come out to ~$2200.

I was trying my best to hold out for the all black (ebony) version to go on sale for the previous $1,699 price. But with another $200 off, I can't wait any longer. I do not think the price gets any cheaper than this going forward, and I've watched the entire RP line all year long and have not seen the complete set with these specific components any cheaper all year. Tried to do the PayPal Pay Later to get another 20% off.. but it's limited to purchases under $1,500.. and these come to $1,589, including tax.

Now I just need to find a great deal on the Denon AVR-3800H. Also, Hope that the RP1400 subwoofer comes back on sale for $700.
The Pay Later deal works for pay monthly as well. It's capped at $250 (so only counts towards the first $1250 of a purchase) but it still a nice chunk.

I tried to use paypal pay later but below the Pay in 4 option, I see this "Not available for this transaction." Any ideas on how to solve this?

*Edit*
Saw this in the pay later section. 4 interest-free payments on eligible purchases of $30.00-$1,500.00. Not available for this transaction.
Paypal CS rep says since transaction exceeded $1500 pay later is not available.

How does this compare to SVS Prime Tower + Satellite for $100 more?

My living room theater has been all Klipsch RP series 1 for several years. Built a bedroom theater with cheap Kef and loved it. Recently upgraded the living room to Kef Metas I got though various deals (on average half off MSRP). Sounds noticeably better than the the previous Kilpsch system. Totally get why audiophiles claim Klipsch is too "bright" now.

Can you share the details for the deals on kef? I am debating myself to buy these or slowly accumulate the kef q series. Please advise.
