Wow.. That's a great price! I just paid $549 a couple weeks ago for the G2.

Was that for the g1 or g2?

G2, I've now offer a bit less when I see these posted deals. So far I'm 2 for 2, both accepted on the last day.

I low balled on the case, but they came back higher priced than it was on a previous B&H Photo sale.

Definitely go low on whatever you send an offer on ... They will respond back to that offer and you can go back/forth. But go like 10-15% lower than you actually want to pay.

28-200mm is the gem. I think Tamron is clearing out old stock for the gen 2 lens which is slower but wider.

same aperture range 2.8-5.6 but slightly wider at 25-200mm. Will probably have some other minor improvements
