Well, this one pushed me over the edge. I've been on the lookout for a year for a device to replace my 1660 ti Lenovo legion It was between this and the Lenovo legion 5 5060 offered by antonline for $1000. I was considering the lenovo vs the 1200 version of this. When I saw it was 1150, that was what broke me 😂 best deal available hands down

Slick deal, only issue is there tends to be slightly more thermal throttling than a Legion. Great deal, though.

What's the catch here? I just bought this using the PayPal Pay Later deal. Seems too good to be true

What is the PayPal later thing you're talking about?

PayPal has an offer for some account holders to get 20% cashback (up to $1250) on the first use of their Buy Now, Pay Later service when checking out with PayPal. Check your PayPal account in the web. I found it there, but not on my app.

Would this make sense for me if I'm not a gamer but do 4k video editing? Has specs I'm after in terms of RAM, good video card etc.

Since HP hasn't canceled this sale yet, it's probably not a good deal.

Thanks picked this up with HP EPP for $1140 and the Paypal 20% off. Got this for $970 so I think I did good.

This is not a bad display at all, but it might come up short when you talk about photo/video editing. You would want a better display in terms of color gamut, for example, an OLED, AMOLED, or Mini-LED. The GPU and processor are more than capable for 4K editing.

I am an "expert", i guess

This will be great. It lacks dual nvme, which is odd. but it can do a lot with the lower wattage offerings here
