I have this model. It's got a design flaw that requires some manual intervention. The flaw prevents you from properly collapsing and being able to stand this up. I got mine 2 years ago and hopefully they have fixed this.

Mine is date stamp 2021. No issues. I highly recommend it for any brand miter saw.

It's Rigid, not dewalt. I am not saying which is better, but they are different.

I just bought and set up the Bosch one, and it's pretty great. Wish I could have tested the Bosch, DeWalt, Ridgid, and maybe some others before buying, but I am not disappointed. Current price is $319, but $287 with no tax for those eligible for HD's mil/vet discount.

You're essentially paying for the hydraulic lift cylinder if that's important to you. I've had this stand for about three years now and have been very happy. Even cut adapter plates out of ply so I can also use it with my portaband an bench top drill press
