The credit is a deal, but not the price of the PS5 and PS5 Pro. Silly tariffs basically cancel out the credit. PS5 summer bundle was $349. We should have been at $300 by now for holiday sales.

Got this yesterday to only play Gran Turismo.

I had a PS4 with a 500 GB hard drive, not 1000 GB and they still took it. About $500 for a PS5pro, not bad at all. 170$ for a 12-13 year old PS4 is awesome.

Dont forget to wipe out your old device before trade-ing in.

Oh I meant just for the base trade-in value of the system. PS4 Pro is $75 and PS4 base is $70 which is credited as a gift card. The $100 bonus is a certificate. Note that this is in store so I don't know how the online works. Overall yes it is 170 or $175 depending on the PS4 system that you trade but it's just separate line items of discounts. It gets confusing

So finally was able to get one in store. Here is what worked for me -
1. Find a rep from the gaming section and ask to buy the PS5 slim 1TB
2. Show the Best Buy post of the deal https://www.bestbuy.com/trade-in/...22Deals%22
3. Go to the customer service with the rep and buy and tradein PS4 in same transaction
4. Net $300 for PS5

I was told they are sending it to Sony , they didn't care much of my console . Scanned & gave me the credit .

I was able to catch a slim disc version restock available for pickup in my area.

I selected the 1TB Black PS4 option for trade in but tbh my system might be a 500gb, not 100% sure.

I was clearly the first person doing this promotion at my store because they were definitely overwhelmed.

They didn't test the system (even though I did before going) but they did scan it. I guess either my system is in fact the 1TB version or whatever they scan doesnt say whether it is 500gb or 1TB because they took it anyway.

I placed an order for the slim one but after a couple of hours received an email saying it is out of stock and I need to select another store. It shows out of stock everywhere. I will go to store tomorrow to see what I can do.

Sharing my trade-in experience. I did the pro online trade-in. I only had a 500 GB PS4. Went to the store with my PS4, they did not check if the system works, plug it in. they just took it they did everything on the screen and I got 70 off plus the 100. For those that are thinking about getting the slim, the cashier told me that he's done trade-ins both online and in store . The 170 promo applies to any PS5 purchased

When you ordered for pick up- which console did you choose and were you able to get the option to trade in? I've tried 3 different bundles and same one as yours yet I do not get an option to trade in
