The credit is a deal, but not the price of the PS5 and PS5 Pro. Silly tariffs basically cancel out the credit. PS5 summer bundle was $349. We should have been at $300 by now for holiday sales.

Got this yesterday to only play Gran Turismo.

I had a PS4 with a 500 GB hard drive, not 1000 GB and they still took it. About $500 for a PS5pro, not bad at all. 170$ for a 12-13 year old PS4 is awesome.

Dont forget to wipe out your old device before trade-ing in.

I mean, this is the kind of deal it used to be. Best thing to do is not buy it to send a message to these companies. Software sales are so good that they can afford to break even or subsidize -- they just don't want to upset shareholders. $650 for an Xbox and $800 for a PS5 Pro is absolutely ridiculous.

These are very high end machines. They are not the consoles of the past. The machines themselves are said to have roughly a 5% margin from the manufacturer and at retail its roughly similar. Its all an effort to sell thegames and the ecosystem. If you think there are huge margins for either side, you just dont know retail. These are also pretty heavy so ship and move around. On the PS5 Pro that unit definitely has more margin in it. They has a mass market version and a high end for people who have the money to spend for it. You may not be in the market at these price points. Look for used units or last gen used equipment.
