It's not sold by Walmart. It's a third-party seller.

Not advertising, but very reputable seller, for years on Walmart and even before on ebay. Back in 2010s, I used to purchased a lot used items from VIPOUTLET, Not even a single time I was disappointed. They are Miami based. Again, you are betting against used items, and it's not Amazon resell, so don't expect that quality.
The only and main thing I'd check with this purchase is Authenticity as sometime it's reported fake one being sold to them and they will come to you eventually...

Mine just came in from my first order(when they were still $93). Warranty says good until 6/13/26, look brand new. Placed 2nd order when price dropped to return for $93

Third party seller, but the listing claims the condition is "Open Box" which, according to Walmart:
Excellent condition with no signs of usage and still in its original packaging or generic packaging. Packaging can be open or show signs of wear, but original accessories are included.
However one reviewer claims it was "used".
If the item is in bad shape, or not as advertised, you are able to return in-person to a Walmart store until January 31.
Lowest price I've seen, so I'm rolling the dice.

You are correct. I ordered an apple IMac from them years ago. They were legit back then.

I would like to know too, that would solve the counterfeit concerns

Possibly for AppleCare One plan, with two other devices (3 total) would be $20/mo or so. Beyond the first 3 devices, it's $5.99/mo per device. But I know there's age and region limits of devices because several of mine aren't eligible; for example, HomePod minis, which I wouldn't insure anyway based on their age and price. There are restrictions on replacements and, as usual, deductible for replacement.

(All that to say, I'm not 100% certain.)

Another endorsement for VIP, but I've only ever purchased through their eBay. The reviews on these open box don't sound good. Free returns- maybe worth a try and return if bad?

Once you receive it, verify the serial number on Apple's site. Easiest way to check if it is genuine.

I bought my original Airpods Pro from this same seller, and they have been bulletproof going on 2 years now. No issues, they were in great condition when I received them. For $83, this is a steal

Not necessarily true. Fake products often spoof real serial numbers.
