The only and main thing I'd check with this purchase is Authenticity as sometime it's reported fake one being sold to them and they will come to you eventually...
Community Reviews
These open box AirPods Pro 2 are mainly appealing for the low price and the chance of getting a near new pair with original accessories, USB C cable, and warranty coverage that can run into 2026. Several arrivals looked pristine, paired normally, and worked well, with some even coming in the original box. The main risk is inconsistency, since other units showed scratches, brown box packaging, missing box, or signs of heavy use. Authenticity and model mix ups also came up, including mismatched serials, Find My errors, and at least one unit that appeared to be AirPods Pro 1.
Common Questions (7)
Condition is inconsistent: some arrive looking brand new with unused tips and accessories, while others show scratches, dents, dirt, earwax, or heavy wear. The listing may be open-box, but several received units appear more like used returns than lightly opened items.
Many units show active Apple warranty coverage, with dates reported into 2026 and some even including AppleCare+ time remaining. Coverage appears to vary by unit, so it's worth checking the serial number on Apple's warranty site after arrival.
Check the serial number on Apple's warranty site and compare the case, box, and earbuds; genuine units should pair normally and show consistent Apple details. A USB-C charging port also indicates AirPods Pro 2, but serial checks alone are not foolproof because fake units can spoof real serial numbers.
Sometimes yes, but not always. Reported arrivals include the original box with the braided USB-C cable and unused eartips, while other units came in a plain brown box or generic packaging with the same accessories included.
Yes. Some units arrived with mismatched serials between the case and earbuds, Find My showing a mismatch, or even tied to someone else's iCloud account. In those cases the unit was treated as swapped or not properly reset and was returned.
Returns can require an in-store Walmart visit for Apple headphones, and some buyers were told Walmart would ship the return back to the vendor instead of refunding on the spot. If the unit is not as described, in-person return eligibility was reported through Jan. 31 or Feb. 1 depending on the order.
Not always. Some side-by-side tests found AirPods Pro 2 ANC noticeably better, while others reported Pro 1 noise cancellation as better than the Pro 2 units they received.
