This does not have Time Of Use so once the battery discharges, it will not use grid power as a backup for the AC outlet output and those devices will just turn off.

I don't think any of them do. Happy to be corrected but I think their advertising is all talk about cost-savings on your bills when it simply can't do TOU schedules and use the grid as backup when the battery fully depletes.
