2024 version on my wall right now in a reboot loop. 100% certified piece of garbage.
This tv is frustrating, the software is trash. Unless you pay the over priced monthly sub for artwork and even then.. it's limited.
Sure you can upload your own artwork, but let's imagine you want themes for the seasons or vacation pictures but want different photos when certain people come over. It does not support folders.
The auto dimming depending on ambient light is trash. I've already had Samsung come out and replace the board once, it's going bad again.
I have other Samsung tv, phones and tablets.. I won't go near appliances and it's going to be the same for the frame.
It sucks that these are so bad, I don't really want or need a TV but I'd love something like this to decorate my living room. Maybe I'll buy one if they ever go to like $200.
Kind of surprised at the hate for these, I thought they were pretty unanimously considered great for well-lit rooms
I've purchased 2 myself, and have used 1 as a 4k high-refresh-rate workstation monitor full time for probably a total of 14 months in the past. I love these things.

I'm sorry but what's the big deal with having a giant bezel?
Is this somehow desirable?
You put a "frame" around it and then the goal is it looks like a painting when you're not watching tv. It can be convincing-enough depending on the room, lighting, and art chosen. Walking throug the homes in the Utah Parade-Of-Homes, I'd say around half of the rich person homes had these in them, some w/ the 85" size. Without a frame attachment ( which costs extra ) this thing is ugly as sin though, so if you're picking one up you'd almost for sure want to weight the value proposition with the cost of the frame you want included, some of them are pricey
My only complaint about this tv is that the remotes go bad pretty quickly, I'm on my 2nd replacement remote. Other than that though, five stars from me

I'm with you on this. That's why I bought Meural Canvas II. Netgear has sales on these from time to time (when it comes in stock), so check out their site around big holidays.
I've had my meural for 9 years now. It's been pretty great for the money. I got the frame for $200 and at this point wouldn't even spend that much on it. My meural also looks nicer. Wish it was a bigger screen.
Got one last year on BF and it's been great other than the small lag in the UI. I also wish the home button actually took you home instead of to the art page. And a source button on the remote works be nice. Then it would be perfect.

Alternatively, if you need a bigger frame, look at TCL NXTVISION TVs. Costco had some great prices recently.
