A typical Geekbench 6 single-core score for a laptop Core i5 5 years ago would be a Tiger Lake processor, and score approximately 1,150-1,300, while the multi-core score ranges from approximately 4,000-5,000.
The Snapdragon x1-26-100 has a Geekbench 6 score of 2125 and multi-core of 10596.
Obviously, good for those that understand some apps, drivers, and games will never run on a SnapX cpu, and willing to stick mostly to Microsoft apps for the best compatibility.

Community Reviews
This Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3x is a strong budget Windows on ARM laptop for everyday use, especially web browsing, email, Word, streaming, and other normal tasks. The Snapdragon X chip gets praised for staying cool, quiet, and efficient, with solid battery life, a touch screen, backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, Wi Fi 7, and USB C charging alongside the included 65W barrel charger. The main caution is compatibility, since some legacy apps, printer drivers, games, and creator or business workflows may need ARM native versions or may not work well. It feels like a capable low cost pick if your software is already ARM friendly.
people who want a Windows laptop mainly for email, web surfing, and Microsoft Word because commenters say it's about perfect for those basic daily tasks and they're getting speedy, light performance with good battery life and low heat.
buyers who are willing to stick to Microsoft-first apps on Windows on ARM because community members note Snapdragon has inherent compatibility limitations versus Intel/AMD and recommend using mostly Microsoft apps for best compatibility.
people looking for a Chromebook-like replacement for couch browsing and video watching because commenters describe it as a good fit for casual browsing/streaming and say it's not running hot with excellent battery life.
users who plan to stream games (not install them locally) because one commenter clarifies they meant to stream from Steam and another says Snapdragon laptops are likely to be fine for streaming setups if you've had success before.
tax filers who specifically need TurboTax on a Windows ARM laptop because one commenter reports TurboTax Desktop Deluxe 2024 and TurboTax Business 2024 installed fine on a Snapdragon ARM Windows 11 system (with only minor compatibility-mode tweaking for TT 2023).
people who need to print via USB (especially with specific printers) because commenters report returning due to lack of ARM printer drivers, and another notes USB printer support is likely unreliable even if wireless printing can work via Mopria.
people who require legacy x86 software or x86-specific drivers because community members warn that ARM (Snapdragon) may not run legacy x86 software/drivers and advise avoiding ARM if you can't confirm your required software will work.
buyers who are counting on consistently fast USB-C charging for daily use because at least one commenter reports USB-C charging was "slow as hell" (later attributing it to an update), and others suggest it may only be practical overnight or with the right wattage.
buyers who want a dock-friendly laptop for lots of external displays because one commenter returned theirs, saying it's not dock-friendly due to only a single USB-C port and limited external display support (DisplayPort 1.2 / HDMI 1.4).
gamers who expect to install and run games locally because commenters warn not to buy these for gaming and say games won't run well on these Snapdragon laptops.
