Cold water isn't as bad as you think it could be. Although I live in the south.

I have been using LUXE Bidet NEO 185 (with cold water) in Minnesota for many years now. Cold water is not an issue. With a hot water line, the installation will be more difficult, and by the time the water gets hot, you will be done long before.

I keep mine on self-clean setting and I turn on the water, let it run, and once it's warm after a couple of minutes I switch it over.
I have this exact model, but i've had it for years and it's looking worn and the cover has broken off. In for two, to replace mine and another for the guest bathroom.

I've purchased this brand twice before. I've always had problems with it leaking.

I have a heated toilet seat bidet. For upstairs. I got this one for the downstairs. It's a tiny bathroom that is right above the water heater. It's not instant hot but within five seconds I get scalding hot water. We'll see how this one works out. Not a lot of money wasted if it sucks
