$30 back in Kohls Cash, $5 back for picking it up as I'm driving right past it, and then combined it with PayPal 20% back in points, another $22, for paying off in 4 installments fot a total of $57 off. Pretty slick and the Kohls cash will be used for new jeans that were needed.
Approximately $52 out of the door and I purchased half of this set from a thrift store brand new for $40. Very good quality pots from my initial usage.

This Cuisinart stainless cookware set is a solid starter upgrade for moving off nonstick and learning stainless cooking. It heats and cooks well, cleans easily, and can behave almost nonstick once the pan is properly preheated. Long term use looks strong too, with reports of daily abuse, years of heavy use, and no obvious wear. The main tradeoff is that it is not as refined or evenly responsive as All Clad or other tri ply sets, and stainless still takes technique to avoid burning. A practical value pick when the price is right.
home cooks who are learning to cook with stainless and want to move away from nonstick because commenters say it's a good starter stainless set and they'd pair it with a carbon steel skillet before upgrading to All-Clad.
people replacing nonstick cookware who want a set that "works great" for everyday cooking because one buyer bought it to replace all their nonstick pots and reported it works great and they'd buy again at a similar price.
busy cooks who want something they can use daily and clean easily because long-term users say it's easy to make "nonstick," cleans easily, and cooks well with no perceived need to upgrade beyond spending more money.
buyers shopping specifically for a strong sale price using Kohl's Cash because one commenter broke down the deal and said they got it to about $52 out of pocket and found the initial usage quality "very good."
people who are willing to use stainless technique (like the water-drop test) to prevent sticking because commenters note the steel is temperature-sensitive and recommend learning the water drop test/canola spray method for nonstick-like results.
precision-focused cooks who compare stainless sets to All-Clad D3 because a commenter says the Cuisinart set has less refined fit-and-finish and inferior heating/response, estimating it performs about 60% as well as the D3.
buyers who want a set that matches what they previously owned or expected because one user says the set they received was different from what they expected (including lid type/overall build) and they returned it after comparing to another Cuisinart set they found superior.
people who rely on temperature probes to control cooking because commenters say a laser temperature probe does not work on these pans and you'll need to learn stainless-specific temperature cues instead.

Edit: Upon arrival, this is not the set I have, and I will be returning them. In case anyone is interested, this is the set I have, and, upon comparison, find them far superior to this set. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd...re-set.jsp
I have had this set for several years. They work great. Easy to make nonstick. They clean easily. cook well. Idk about some higher end models but I see zero reason to upgrade besides just throwing away money
