Thanks.
Bought 1, registered and drained it immediately for my duke energy bill just like a physical VGC. Easy process.
Bought 4 more to run through the same process. Didn't hit any caps in checkout with 2 orders totaling 1k thus far.

Has PayPal been enforcing their terms against stored value cards for their 20% offer? This would be a perfect purchase if it completes the offer...

Is there a single upside to these that the physical cards don't provide? It seems like the only reason to buy these would be if I don't live close to a Staples/ODOM?
My staples has been out of fee-free gift cards every time I've gone for a couple months. They get hit pretty hard by the points players I guess. I got some physical today but I'll also pick some up online because tax season is coming bby!

Such a pain in the ass to use these things. Just physically hand your relative $200 cash instead, or a real gift card to a store.

People aren't using these as actual gifts.

I don't know about these specifically but every Visa gift card I've ever received has been a huge PITA to spend.

Best use case for these is utilities, insurance and costco cash card. Easy 5%+ discount if you have ink cards.

Chase Business Ink Cash card has 5% cashback on Staples purchases. Makes this a $10 money maker.

The limit on this deal is 5x $200 gift cards. With the Chase Ink Business card, we can get 5,000 points. It only takes as little as 25,000 points to travel one way to Asia on a ticket class that is about $650 cash price. So, the 5,000 points is worth as much as $130 to me.

I can use these Visa gift cards at Costco, to pay for my kids activities, etc.

There is always a line on Sunday at opening at Staples whenever there's these no activation fee deals on Visa and Mastercard gift cards. Every one of these folks carry the Chase Ink Business card. It's like Pokemon cards, haha.

I just immediately turn them into Costco Shop cards, which gives me 5x Chase UR points on Costco purchases, eliminates the risk of the cards getting drained, and makes it easy to know they'll work for what I need them for.
How do you do this may I ask?
