The width listed in the specifications is only 15 inches. That is including the sides, so the belt is even smaller than that. It's a very narrow walking path.

Apparently it's OK to shrink the size of a human on the treadmill to make the treadmill look much larger?

This walking pad is best suited for under desk walking, with a 4 mph limit and a slight incline that is adjusted by raising the front feet rather than by a motor. The compact format is praised for desk use, and the current price is framed as reasonable for this category. The main drawbacks are the very narrow 15 inch walking path, the short belt for taller walkers, and the lack of a written warranty. Maintenance also comes up, since these pads often need regular belt lubrication.

Common Questions (5)

  • These walking pads typically do need regular belt lubrication. The belt can wear or fail if it is not kept lubricated, so upkeep is part of owning this style of pad.

    sardjugernotGwyn

  • At this price it is in line with similar walking pads already selling around the same range. The main value is for desk walking and light use, not for running or expecting premium build quality.

    radarsfizzerfitsGwyn

  • The full specifications list "Has written warranty = No." A separate 3-year protection plan is mentioned as a low-cost add-on.

    endgame42fizzerfitsdrbrix

  • The incline is manual, not mechanized. You raise the front feet before starting so the front end sits higher than the back, which also means the incline is limited by the pad's small motor and torque.

    BigSoxfanjugernot

  • The listed width is only 15 inches including the sides, so the usable belt is even narrower. That makes the walking path feel cramped, especially for longer strides.

Careful, a 15 DEGREE incline is only an 8.5% incline.

I'd hope that anyone buying a $90 treadmill isn't worried about it having a 15% incline... Get a real treadmill for that as the motor is this is tiny without enough torque for a good incline.

I believe it is an adjustable incline - you increase the height of the feet on the front end of the pad before you start so the front end is higher than the back end. The incline is not mechanized. Otherwise, your point would be well taken.

There are three possible scenarios: It's either a very big treadmill, a very tiny human, or it's been photoshopped.

FYI if you're an average or taller male, look for something with at least 40" belt length. Basically if there's a photoshopped picture of a woman to make it look larger, it's going to be too short.

Thanks, that's a pass for me, as a dude that's a bit too narrow for my step and my hips would be slinging back and forth. Then I'd be hearing a song in my head, "Well you can tell by the way I use my walk I'm a woman's man, no time to talk.."

Wouldn't the incline make it easier on the motor? The higher the incline the more work that gets done by gravity.
