Plenty of non-trivial use cases exist.

But I bought one because I really am that lazy.

I see where you're coming from, but a lot of people prefer to have physical page turn buttons for their e-readers. For whatever reason, only a few models offer them these days. This is at least a way to get that function.

Now, at first it might not be obvious why anyone would want to do this, but if you think about it for a second, it makes sense. Accessibility immediately comes to mind. People use eReaders and tablet computers with remote controls because they have mobility problems. Pressing a button to advance the page using a remote opens up device use by a huge number of people. https://www.howtogeek.com/the-wei...r-remotes/
But I bought one because I really am that lazy.

I'd like one so I could lay under the blanket hands and all comfortable and falling asleep with little to no energy used until I read myself to sleep. Its a beautiful thing actually

Not lazy. Warm arms. Lay on your side, prop the kindle against your sleeping wife or a pillow, and turn the pages fully under the covers. Life changer.

You know, I was about to put this in the "stupid idea/useless e-waste" category as well, but with my radial tunnel syndrome, holding devices for a long time and manipulating them causes some pretty severe pain. This combined with a tablet holder would let me hold my arm of a neutral position. Hmmm...

I use it on the treadmill with my Kindle Scribe. Guess that's lazy.

That's how my wife uses hers. She says it's one of the best things she's bought 😁

Can this turn a page forward only? Or can it turn the page back as well?
