As a guy, this shampoo is terrible. Rarely do I use a shampoo and notice my hair any different afterwards, but I really would only use this as a last resort.

Agreed. Makes my hair extra frizzy and dried out.

Older guy with long hair here. The purple one is better than nexus, it does a great job of actually softening my hair. If you have short hair I could see it being greasy though. The black one sucked though

Wonder water (2 kinds included) is great for smoothing hair - highly recommend. I'd also check out the balm and multi-use treatment. I haven't used them before, but they are likely good treatments for dry or damaged hair. L'Oreal has great hair products -- just need to find the right ones for your hair type.
