Also adds wireless charging and Live Translation and speaker for Find My. Probably worth $19 in my opinion

It's not fantastic ANC but it is noticeable and actually nice to have - and/or transparency mode as well.

AirPods 4 with ANC are being treated as a comfortable, non in ear option with useful noise cancellation and a feature set that adds wireless charging, Live Translation, and a Find My speaker. ANC is described as noticeably effective for fans, cars, air conditioners, airplane noise, and loud gyms, while transparency mode and the fit get praise too. The main drawbacks are that the microphones for calls are weak, stem volume control is missing, and the ANC version can cost more than the base model. A solid pick if you want AirPods convenience without silicone tips.

Common Questions (5)

  • The ANC is noticeable and can be strong enough to cut out fan, car, air conditioner, and airplane noise. It is not as strong as AirPods Pro 2, but it is still useful for loud gyms, travel, and everyday background noise.

  • They are described as more comfortable than AirPods Pro for some users because they do not use silicone ear tips. That also means there is no ear-tip seal to manage, which can be helpful if Pro tips often feel loose or annoying.

  • Yes, this listing is for the ANC version. The base AirPods 4 are the cheaper non-ANC model, while the ANC model is the one with the higher price and extra features like wireless charging and Find My support.

  • The ANC version adds wireless charging, Live Translation, and a speaker for Find My. It also supports Find Nearby and sound alerts, which makes locating the case easier.

  • No, stem volume control is not included. That is a downside for shoppers who want quick on-ear volume adjustment without using the phone or Siri.

Best buy needs to price match!
They are now, they just exclude Black Friday through Cyber Monday. I just had them match Amazon successfully.

Slickdeals has went down the drain. It's now full of garbage paid adds. It reminds me of how Woot was ruined. 80% of the stuff on this site is not a good deal. I mean hell, they cant even be honest with you about the regular price. (This is nothing against this deal but just a general frustration)

Not worth it. Only costs $8 to make. See all the recent threads on Slickdeals for knock-off brands with ANC selling for < $30.

I upgraded from the 3 to the 4 ANC because my gym is so loud. Totally worth it.

I bought the ANC and was glad I paid extra. It seems to drown out the airplane noise when on travel.
