Community Reviews
This ACEMAGIC mini PC stands out as a compact 8745HS system with 32GB DDR5, a 1TB PCIe 4 SSD, and enough speed for daily use, media, and light gaming. The price is described as strong for this CPU and memory combo, especially versus other recent 8745HS and 8845HS deals. USB4 is confirmed on the USB C port, which helps offset the lack of Oculink. The main caution is ACEMAGIC's past malware controversy, so a fresh Windows reinstall is the safest setup. Small form factor limits still apply, especially for heavier gaming and cooling.
people planning to run Proxmox on a mini PC because they specifically wanted 32GB RAM for virtualization and this listing hits that 32GB/1TB spec target.
buyers who want a small-form-factor machine for daily use and media consumption because one commenter said the same-seller mini PC was great for daily use and watching media, as long as you understand the limitations of such a small power house.
shoppers comparing CPU/RAM value on the 8745HS class because commenters noted the price looked lower than other recent 8745HS deals while having the same or higher specs for the CPU/RAM combo.
people who are worried about spyware/security and don't want to rely on the manufacturer's assurances because multiple commenters said they would not trust it and criticized "company claims" without independent third-party verification.
buyers who need to trust the device for business or financial use because commenters argued the prior malware/spyware concerns weren't independently verified and concluded it's not suitable if you access financial data or need credential safety.
gamers who expect stable performance under load because one commenter reported overheating while gaming that caused stuttering on a similar mini PC with the same specs.

As for malware since they have been under additional scrutiny I would feel better about them than others
You could jerry-rig oculink, but these ports should be default by now.
The seller did confirm the following for me USB-C: The USB-C port is USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (10Gbps), and the system also includes USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports (4 ports at 5Gbps). USB Ports: For the USB 3.2 ports, we have 2 x Gen2 (10Gbps, front) and 4 x Gen1 (5Gbps, rear) ports. That said for S3A model in 2025 usb-c has been a usb4 so won't know for sure till I get it. This listing seems to be more accurate to what the seller communicated to me vs conflicting info in listing

For this price and 32GB ram and 1TB PCIe 4 NVME SSD, and all the other features, at this time, although I agree not having usb4 and oculink is a bummer I have to take it.
I don't have an immediate use case for usb4 and oculink but hopefully this gets me to time when ssd and ram prices r more reasonable and then u upgrade

Not surprising. I got my RAM about two - three weeks ago... the news stories about the shortage were their but not like now. And prices seemed to jump higher with each article written.
When the computer companies run out of their stock... which is happening now... I think we will see higher prices with all PC's in the near future.
