Community Reviews
This ACEMAGIC mini PC stands out as a compact 8745HS system with 32GB DDR5, a 1TB PCIe 4 SSD, and enough speed for daily use, media, and light gaming. The price is described as strong for this CPU and memory combo, especially versus other recent 8745HS and 8845HS deals. USB4 is confirmed on the USB C port, which helps offset the lack of Oculink. The main caution is ACEMAGIC's past malware controversy, so a fresh Windows reinstall is the safest setup. Small form factor limits still apply, especially for heavier gaming and cooling.
Common Questions (4)
For this BF window, it was described as the lowest seen for the 8745HS/8845HS/H255 class, with similar systems often staying above $400. The tradeoff is that comparable deals have appeared lower before, and some buyers point to missing USB4/Oculink or older refurbished options as better values.
Older ACEMAGIC mini PCs manufactured before November 2023 were reported with pre-installed malware in Windows files and the recovery partition, so a factory reset may not remove it. A fresh Windows reinstall from Microsoft media is the safest way to start clean, and newer shipments are claimed to have the issue resolved.
The seller-confirmed spec is USB4 Type-C with up to 40Gbps, DP 1.4, and 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz output. The unit also includes two front USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports at 10Gbps and four rear USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports at 5Gbps.
The RAM is not soldered and can be replaced or upgraded. Mini PCs are easy to open, but the components are very cheap, so the RAM and M.2 SSD need to be seated carefully to avoid errors.

The story is they hired a 3rd party to isntall the software... this company was the one who installed the spyware.... blah blah blah....
The SPYWARE was detected IMEDIATELY by Windows if you did a scan. And was DELETED in it's entirety if you allowed Windows to do so. It was not hidden or part of the bios or anything like that.
SAMSUNG is the only company today that has gotten paid MILLIONS and MILLIONs of dollars by a third party to install SPYWARE that is par of the OS and CAN NEVER be deleted.
so BACK to their story... was installed by a third party they hired... once it was known, they fired that company and an new company is doing the software installs. THEY NEVER GOT PAID MILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND MILLIONS like SAMSUNG and LENOVO.
Lenovo got CAUGHT back in 2018 for installed SPYWAR on their tablets... they got PAID MILLIONS form a third party to do this.
SO right now I don't trust Lenovo or Samsung. Acemagic NEVER GOT PAID, and claimed they NEVER KNEW.
I KNOW I KNOW... YOU THINK ACEMAGIC IS FULL OF SHIT AND SAMSUNG AND LENOVO ARE YOUR HEROS.
Acemagic claims it was a third party. Acemagic claims they never got paid to install it. Without independent third-party verification, they can claim anything. Independent verification is required if they want a seat at the table with the adults.
Samsung and Lenovo my heroes? LOL. Your cries make you sound like an apple fanboy.
Here's a fact - The Samsung spyware you reference was only on their most budget line phones - and NOT sold in the US. You never could buy them here to begin with. Second - the app only collected location data device info and usage patterns - they were not potentially stealing logons or financial data. Verdict: still a reputable company.
The Lenovo spyware you are referencing I think is really from 2014 or 2015 <?> They were not paid "millions" to install it, though they did profit from the adware. Acemagic on the other hand installed redline which is an info stealer (meaning your credential were at risk) they logged keystrokes, did screenshots and connect to remote servers in china. .They did have lawsuits against them, they settled, paid fines have been more transparent. Having a larger user base also means they are under more scrutiny.
So your comparison is not quite the same.
You can continue to put your trust in a sketchy company like Acemagic but anyone who is using it for any business purpose or accesses financial data would be a fool to do so. I'm guessing neither apply to you or you are a paid shill.

Look... you want proof, I don't have the proof you want.
About the Samsung SPYWARE... you are wrong. Yes, there are user reports and discussions online indicating that the AppCloud app has been found on some Samsung devices sold in the USA and Canada, particularly on mid-range and lower-end A and M series models, and potentially on S series devices after updates. BUT SHOW ME YOUR PROOF!!! AND lets just say that every person who claim it is installed on their device IN THE USA is a liar... I THINK NOT.
And what prevents them from installing the SPYWARE on any of their devices, Samsung has not made a proper apology (like Acemagic or Lenovo).
But the FUNNIEST thing you said is that "the app only collected location data device info and usage patterns" ... LOL, I love how you put it. I guess the 100 plus articles are WRONG and you are RIGHT. The app has the ability to install what it wants when it wants and after updates it comes back so you can not delete it. Now, the company CLAIMS that they only collected location data device info and usage pattern... so SHOW ME THE PROOF!!!! The fact is that this THIRD PARTY who PAID SAMSUNG MILIONS AND MILLIONS has a back door to your device... some RANDO 3rd party marketing company... and YOU TRUST THEM... this is not Samsung... this is the company that Paid Samsung MILLIONS so they can have a open back door to your device.
Now Lenovo Spyware happened in 2018 and they got paid MILLIONS AND MILLIONS. And again, Lenovo let a 3rd party Marketing company to have complete access through back doors to your device. And Lenovo has apologized, and has changed many policies so this does not happen.
So the Lenovo and Samsung thing is almost identical... both got paid MILLIONS to allow a 3rd party to have a back door to your device. Both of the apps spied on you.
So Acemagic and Lenovo have apologized, promised to not allow this to happen again. And Samsung has so far been quiet... and people are PISSED and there will be a class action law suite.
And if Samsung installs spyware on every device but the ones they sell in the USA... I would still think Samsung is a piece of shit.

Actually I am right. FACTS actually matter. Look at legal documents not internet articles, which seems to be your source of truth.
Hers another fact (actually it's what I said earlier but I'll restate it a little bit differently hoping you can understand it) - Lenovo did not get "paid" to install adware. They did get paid by clicks and page views. Facts and details matter.
The Samsung and Lenovo "thing" you refer to and not remotely identical, not from a legal sense nor from a technical sense.
As far as Acemagic and Lenovo promising not to "allow it to happen again". One company does get regular audits by third parties and one does not. Care to guess?
Lenovo products are used commercially by many of the Fortune 500 companies. Besides third party audits from Lenovo, most large company IT and legal departments are involved with the purchase and verification in determining suitability. I'm willing to wager that Acemagic would never pass those tests. I'm also willing to wager that Acemagic is not installed in any Fortune 500 company.
It's pretty funny that you call Samsung, one of the leading companies in the world "a piece of shit" while extoling the virtues of Acemagic.
It's obvious you are a paid shill for Acemagic, you're just not very good at it.

Appcloud is suppose to have access to a back door to your device... but you are right, it is most likely not here in the USA.
And the Samsung thing and Lenovo thing to me is almost the same... third party who paid the vendor to have access to a back door on your phone or to collect information about you to sell in the future or to use it to sell you something in the future. The fact that you claim it is completely different because one got paid by clicks... well, I disagree.
So, Lenovo "thinkpads" are used in the business world but not so much for their low end tablets. I disagree again.
So Acemagic has tried it's best to sell directly to the consumer... SO SORRY THAT they did not use YOUR corporate strategy to try and sell it to the fortune 500. If you are worried about spyware installed, then reinstall the OS and download a clean copy from Microsoft.
Don't get me started on Samsung... cause to me it is a POS company. The bloatware they install is INSANE... so insane that they are going to give themselves vulnerabilities that no other manufacturer has... SUCH AS LANDFALL.... the only ZERO CLICK exploit since Android 6 and it did not matter if your Samsung S25 Ultra was up to date (or any other SAMSUNG MODEL)... and this went on for ONE YEAR... no other phone, no other manufacturer had this issue, ONLY SAMSUNG!!! AND now it is appcloud AND Samsung as of January 2026 involves intentional delays in system updates and legal disputes over app store competition Delayed Google Play System Updates!!! Samsung officially confirmed it the other day, "intentionally" paused these updates to ensure stability during the rollout of One UI 8 (Android 16) and the launch of the Galaxy S25 series. I will go on and state that Samsung's UI may be spying on you because it uploads information from your phone to the cloud.
I can also say that Acemagic installs Windows OS with ZERO BLOATWARE.

WOW....
OK...
So Lenovo did it and GOT PAID... Now their tablets are known to have a lot less bloatware.
Acemagic claims it was a 3rd party, the spyware got detected if you just ran the Windows virus application "windows defender". And you can install a clean OS, and it is highly recommended. They also apologized, they CLAIM they fired the company that installed their software....
SAMSUNG...
1. Appcloud
2. LANDFALL - only phone company in the world that had this zero click exploit that lasted abotu 1 years and it did not mater if your phone was up to date.
3. Issues TODAY about not installing google OS updates on a timely manner.
4. Some OS updates never make it to your device.
5. The amount of bloatware is almost equal to a firetablet.
For Samsung... we are suppose to look up lawsuits as the truth???!!! LAWSUITS... do you know how many get settled before your day in court, but I guess you don't need that information.

And as far as lawsuits that were settled before court, show some details - Hint - you can't. The most that can be shown is whether it was on the docket and was pulled.
