I and hundreds of others have gotten this HD10 Slate deal before. Actually using it rn
Happy to dm pic if needed, but definitely can confirm. Also look up past Slickdeals threads and you'll see that others also confirmed. If I recall correctly, a woot representative confirmed that "Slate" color option (which isn't a valid color for the non plus version) is a plus version, in one of the earlier threads.
GLHF!

This Fire HD 10 deal stands out as a cheap large screen tablet for media, kids, comics, photo frames, and home dashboard use. The slate color variant is repeatedly confirmed as the Fire HD 10 Plus with 4GB of RAM, and Fire Toolbox or sideloaded Play Store support can make it more usable for browsing, streaming, and simple apps. The main drawback is speed, with repeated reports of sluggish performance, memory limits, and weak long term support. USB C hub charging is also problematic, and the tablet is best suited to light, mostly passive use.
The slate color models reportedly include 4GB RAM, which can help with smoother multitasking.
The tablet can be hacked with Fire Toolbox to add Play Store for more usable media and browsing.
The device can work well for single-purpose tasks like a digital photo frame or a home automation dashboard viewer.
The USB-C port may not work well with most hubs, but charging can still work with an appropriate high-wattage pass-through hub.
Web browsing can feel sluggish, and interacting with pages may trigger reloads due to memory limits.
The tablet's USB-C implementation reportedly cannot pass through power and data with typical USB-C hubs.
The tablet may not connect to WPA3 Wi‑Fi networks, which can limit connectivity on newer routers.
Refurbished units reportedly can have degraded batteries that restart after only a few minutes of use.

I am very confused with what you said.
The FIre tablet runs Android 11 AND YOU SEEM OK WITH THAT... but you have an issue with Android 13?
Samsung is the one that is installing spyware.. but as long as they give you updates I guess you are OK with that.
LASTLY... TELL ME ONE PERSON IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS, SHOW ME ONE (JUST ONE STORY) NEWS STOREY that someone got hacked because their system was not up to day. Cause I can not find ONE.
So, the fact that NO ONE has been hacked do to an older OS, and no more updates... WHY IS IT DANGEROUS?
Again, show me ONE DAMN NEWS STORY... just one.
I will say it AGAIN, the cheapest tablet a person should buy that is decent in speed is this one....
https://www.amazon.com/LincPlus-1...r=8-1&th=1
But for $130 ther Lenovo is probably better.. not as fast but almost and better screen.
how do you sideload? trying to find a good instruction video
I received 2 now, they are both indeed "4GB" versions. Thanks!
BTW how to check:
My kids used TCL Tab 10 5G's ... the TCL 8" ones are fairly inexpensive. Anything with GPS would be useful. I recently purchased one of them the Lincplus tablet that many have been pointing out for $70 and it was a great deal - that one runs Pokemon Go great.
