This Simpson 4400 PSI, 4.0 GPM gas washer stands out for raw cleaning power and a price far below comparable Honda powered models. The triplex pump and commercial frame are framed as a major step up from axial cam units, and the flow rate should cut cleaning time on decks, driveways, and siding. The main cautions are pump reliability and Simpson support, with reports of no pressure out of the box, overheating if run dry, and slow warranty or return handling. It looks like a strong value if you are prepared to maintain it carefully.
Owners willing to maintain a gas washer carefully, because ethanol-free fuel, water flow before starting, and regular pump oil changes are tied to long service life.
People who need a triplex-pump machine for heavier cleaning, because the pump design is described as a major upgrade over axial cam pumps.
Homeowners tackling driveways, decks, and siding, because 4400 PSI and 4.0 GPM can cut cleaning time in half for non-commercial use.
Buyers who want a high-output washer under a premium-brand price, because this model is far cheaper than comparable 4400 PSI units with a Honda engine.
Buyers who need dependable long-term reliability, because this model has repeated reports of pump problems, overheating, and parts failures.
Shoppers who want a proven buy-it-once pressure washer, because the pump and overall build are repeatedly compared unfavorably with Honda-and-CAT setups.
People who cannot tolerate downtime for repairs, because warranty service can leave the washer unavailable for weeks.
Owners expecting hassle-free first use, because one unit arrived with no pressure even after purging air.
