This Simpson 4400 PSI, 4.0 GPM gas washer stands out for raw cleaning power and a price far below comparable Honda powered models. The triplex pump and commercial frame are framed as a major step up from axial cam units, and the flow rate should cut cleaning time on decks, driveways, and siding. The main cautions are pump reliability and Simpson support, with reports of no pressure out of the box, overheating if run dry, and slow warranty or return handling. It looks like a strong value if you are prepared to maintain it carefully.
The AAA triplex pump can deliver long service life when pump oil is kept changed regularly.
The CRX420 engine includes low-oil shutdown, which can help protect the washer during operation.
The deal price is far below a comparable Home Depot Simpson 4400 PSI 4.0 GPM unit with a Honda engine.
Woot reportedly processed a return and ultimately issued a full refund after pickup.
The AAA triplex pump has reportedly shown known quality issues on this model, leading to cancellations after reading reviews.
Warranty repairs reportedly leave the washer out of service for weeks while repairs are underway.
Running the unit without spraying for 1-2 minutes can reportedly overheat the pump.
A first-use report described no pressure out of the box even after purging air for 2-3 minutes, prompting a refund request.
