Community Reviews
Alienware Aurora desktop with an Ultra 7 265F and RTX 5080 is drawing attention as a high end prebuilt whose value depends on the configuration. The strongest appeal is the bundled hardware, especially the graphics card, liquid cooling, 1000 watt power supply, and case, with some pricing math putting the package near parts cost before extras. The main drawbacks are the 16GB of RAM, which feels light at this price, and Dell memory behavior that appears to drop non Dell RAM to 4800 MT per second. The advertised 10 percent coupon and cart pricing have also failed for this item, and heat and thermal throttling are recurring concerns.
The checkout flow can include 15% cashback, which can lower the effective desktop cost.
The deal can drop further when a 10% coupon and additional cashback apply to the purchase.
The configuration can be adjusted by removing the lighting option through Dell's base configuration instead of the linked build.
The system can be configured with a 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in some prior deal setups.
The advertised 10% coupon does not apply to this desktop, so the extra discount may fail at checkout.
The motherboard memory behavior may limit upgrades because non-Dell memory can run at 4800MT/s instead of higher XMP/XPO speeds.
The discounted price may not appear in the cart, which can prevent the expected deal total.
The base configuration can be criticized for effective value concerns, including claims that the build is not really a 5080 and that the lighting kit adds cost.

I can earn additional 2% CB from a website.
I plan to make a purchase then will sell the RTX 5080 to off set the cost since I don't need it.
~$1000 card, $300 cpu, ~$150 ram, that's already, $80 ssd
That's already at the discount without 1000watt power supply, case, fans, liquid cooler.

Ultra 7 265KF 64GB, 2TB, 5080 ordered recently at the start of these deals.
No issues with throttling here. I've been running AI/ComfyUI with various models for a couple hours at a time. Battlefield 6 came free with it and plays incredibly well.
