Community Reviews
This Anker 250W GaN Prime charging station is best as a dense, all in one desktop hub for phones, tablets, laptops, and other USB C gear. It can push up to 140 watts to a power bank, around 80 watts to a Mac, and the phone stays cool while charging. The app adds useful graphs and manual port control, and the screen and dial make it feel like a serious charging brick. The main caveat is that connected devices can briefly renegotiate power when a laptop or other high draw device is added, and some QC 2 and 3 gear may need different cables. It suits a shared charging spot if you want lots of ports in one heavy unit.
The charger can deliver up to 140W when charging a power bank, which supports higher-power accessory charging needs.
The app provides charging data and graphs, and it also enables manual control of charging ports.
The unit can keep a phone cool during charging, which may help battery comfort during longer sessions.
The station can replace a surge protector in a setup where multiple ports are used, including a MacBook.
The charger can briefly interrupt connections when multiple high-draw devices are connected due to shared-rail power negotiation.
Amazon reviews and support experiences raise concerns about power delivery to Apple peripherals, which can be a reason to avoid the device.
Some devices and cables may fail to trigger super fast charging, requiring trial-and-error with different chargers or cables.
The unit can get hot, so placing items on top may be a bad idea and it needs room to breathe.

I looked at the SlimQ 150W--found two versions--one with four USB-C and one with three USB-C and one USB-A. Both chargers that have ports that provide an "up to" output range. Doesn't that mean that there is also dynamic negotiation going on based on device plug-in and unplug?
As an aside, I see so many generic chargers that claim 500, 800, even 1000W. Out of morbid curiosity, I got a few to try, none even come close to what they claim.
"Reset-Free Power Distribution"
I've never seen any of my devices renegotiate the connection using the SlimQ like I do with the Anker 250W. I'm not mad at Anker because the way it behaves is very standard practice. I just love that SlimQ went above and beyond.
FYI, the 4x USB C doesn't come with the travel kit, but the 4x USB C 1x A does.
