FYI $699 tax free for those that qualify for military exchange. Extra $50 off is nice.

Costco: 2nd year warranty is great, even better when you pair your CC with extended warranty which will make it 3 years.
Bestbuy: you can use Paypal 20% but can't use Capital one, or Chase CC with Paypal so I couldn't get the extended warranty.
Amazon: $738 Pair with Amazon Prime card for 5%
Military: $699

$749.99 since a week before Thanksgiving. This isn't new. It's manufacturer's discount and you can find the same price is BH, BB, etc.

Does the MacBook still have issues with paint rubbing off, other than the silver color?
No. I have been using Powerbookd & Mac Books since 1993, never seen any paint issues!

Even if I'm using Amex through PayPal. I'm still ultimately purchasing through PayPal…so would it extend the warranty?

Notably the titanium PowerBook G4s had this issue. That was over 20 years ago.

I've had my M4 Midnight Blue MBA for about 6 months and the left front edge where my watch wrist sits has been rubbed off pretty noticeably. I think it's pretty common on whatever side you wear your watch on.

Costco doesn't extend warranties on Apple products. What are you even talking about?

Extended warranty is no longer applicable since last year or so

Ty for replying with an actual user experience. I had an M3 MBA in Midnight, paint rubbing off. It seems they haven't fixed the issue yet, and Silver is the safest color still.
