lol the way this has slowly rolled out across retailers shows that there was some sort of last minute memo from nintendo allowing people to reduce prices for Cyber Monday. Sales probably not as strong as they had hoped.

It was super easy.
You order the gift cards like you would any other item you buying online. You wait up to 24 hours for them to email you. You copy/paste the codes they send you into a box on Nintendo's site. You add the switch to cart like you would any other online product and when it asks if you want I apply the gift cards to your total you click OK. Easy.

Total time spent in this should not have taken more than 5 mins total.

This is exactly what happened. Stores had a glut of these and Nintendo had to make a move to get them off shelves. PS5s are priced very aggressively for the holidays and Nintendo had to do something.

Apparently not enough. Wink Nintendo should be credited for staying competitive. I will take an occasional sale over jacking up the price and forgetting about it like Microsoft did with their consoles.

For those who used PayPal's "Pay in 4", did you get any email that indicates that we've successfully claimed the 20% cash back offer from PayPal after purchase?

I clicked on 'Save offer' for "20% cash back on one Pay Later purchase with PayPal" in my PayPal account. When I checked out on BestBuy site, PayPal's pay schedule is ($449+tax) / 4. I'm not sure where I can check and see that this Switch 2 purchase from BestBuy was eligible for that "Pay Later" (a.k.a. "Pay in 4") promo.
