For the watch to unlock after 365 days, I'd make sure it was marked as activated in Metro's system even if you didn't get the eSIM on the watch working. Activate it here if you line isn't suspended. https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/order-status

Are you guys certain its even locked? The IMEI for the one I bought returned status: factory unlocked

I activated mine through chat but i didn't open the box..
then i did an imei swap to my current watch.
I hope it unlocks in a year if i still have it.

Is your current watch Samsung also?I attempted an IMEI swap to my cellular Apple Watch 9, system said not fully compatible and only Samsung esim supported, I stopped the process there.

So this has been confirmed that these watches are indeed unlocked and can work with any carrier not just Metro? If we gift this to another person on like Tmobile, ATT, etc they can utilize the LTE service on their service without any issues?

I cannot comment on the cellular part as we won't use that.

Ive been out of the Smartwatch game since GWS3 Frontier…and this is a huge leap! Huge memory, no lag, really nice screen. Wish it had the rotating bezel, but its still super nice regardless. The functionality of the new OS is amazing compared to how locked-down Tyzen used to be.
I swapped out the silicone band for an older gold metal band and already got some compliments on it, haha

So are you able to use it to receive and make calls, texts, etc. as well? Or is it just an extension of your Ultra service from your phone and you get text messages, notifications, etc. on the watch?
