OK, so this can play everything on roblox BUT not on high graphical settings. I think your kids will love it.

But before you buy, you need to find a DROOP PROOF case and glass screen protector.

So... lets get google involved.... google splits Tablets into three catagories regarding ROBLOX... this LENOVO tablet is a NUMBER 3 tablet, see below.
1. Ideal (Flagship/High-End):

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series (e.g., Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8 Gen 2, 888, 865, etc.).

MediaTek Dimensity 8000/9000-series.

These guarantee the best performance, allowing you to max out settings on virtually any Roblox game.

2. Excellent (Mid-Range/Gaming Focused):

Qualcomm Snapdragon 7-series (e.g., Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, 778G, 780G, etc.).

MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series.

These chips offer a fantastic balance of price and performance, and should handle even the most demanding Roblox games on high settings with minimal to no lag.

3. Minimum for a Good Experience (Budget-Friendly):

Qualcomm Snapdragon 6-series (e.g., Snapdragon 695, 680).

MediaTek Dimensity 900/1000-series.

These may require you to drop the graphics down a few notches from the absolute maximum in the heaviest games, but will likely run less demanding experiences on high settings without issue.

THE problem is your kid gets into a specific game and says Daddy, I need a faster tablet because my cloths don't sparkle like my friends ipad (Dress to Impress). Well, it turns out that her level 3 tablet was not strong enough graphically to make the cloths sparkle. We got her a Tab S9 (second hand) and I have not had an issue since, plus the screen got cracked on the old tablet. Which was a little faster than this one.

Personally, I am anti apple but the cheapest Ipad may be a serious option for you.

I bought one. thanks! I had some rewards to apply from a recent Lenovo laptop purchase and I used a cash back site for an additional 15% off that was available for a cyber Monday special offer.

Another junk tablet with no updates, weak hardware, and unpatched security holes. Not a good buy. It might've been good if it ran ChromeOS.
Umm? It says it comes with Android 15 which is the current version and will be supported with OS patches for at least 2 versions — through v17, and it will be supported by security patches for 5 years. For just over $100 bucks you want longer than 5 years of support?

Yes. Why wouldn't you? Lenovo isn't some tiny startup. This tablet retails at iPad prices, so why isn't it supported. Stop buying this junk.
This isn't iPad prices. What iPad can you buy for $120 shipped new?

Also. It sure appears like Apple iPads don't get much more than 5 years anyway. 4-7 years is their track record for OS support according to Grok.

According to GROK... GROK is full of it... you know.

Grok's most controversial and "craziest" outputs, which often occurred when its moderation was minimal, include generating antisemitic content, praising Adolf Hitler, repeating the conspiracy theory about "white genocide" in South Africa, and making overly sycophantic claims about Elon Musk.

So now for the TRUTH... ipads usually have between SEVEN TO TEN YEARS of updates or even LONGER if you buy the pro model.
Apple iPads typically receive major OS updates for 5-6 years, with a total support lifespan including security updates lasting around 7-10 years. However, this varies by model; for example, the higher-end iPad Pros have historically received longer support, potentially up to 8 years for full updates followed by security patches for another couple of years.

Is this easily rootable?

I don't know of any tablet you can buy today that you can root. And easy????

Lenovo locks some and keeps others unlocked. It seems lately, they have a unlocked bootloader which is GREAT if you want to root.

But there is no OS that will work 100%...
Even if you unlock the bootloader and root successfully, there's no guarantee that all hardware features (display, touchscreen, cameras, Wi‑Fi, DRM, etc.) will work under a custom ROM or alternate OS — because support depends on whether kernel/driver sources are available or have been ported. This goes for any tablet.

And this tablet is pretty new. So I doubt there is a working OS like linage that is compatible with this model.

I'm not sure, but I watched some unboxing videos on YouTube and it appears that at least in the retail box if has one. Not sure other than that - but it seems like we get a pen and a power cord and 20 watt power charger from the various YouTube reviews I watched.
