Keep in mind these have no direct AMD warranty and if you have issues you have to send it back to Central Computer for them to the send it to AMD.

Depending where you live for example NY has 8.875% tax, the no tax significantly offsets the shipping and then some.

$22 standard shipping for a tray CPU (no box)? I guess that's how they nickel dime their customers.

Doubt that considering the 9850X3D leak. The price for this will probably drop if demand drops because people are expecting the new chip to come out. Also, if that Newegg bundle with the Crosshair X870E Apex mobo comes back in stock (if it wasn't strictly a bf deal), I think that was the best deal ever for this chip considering you could sell the ram and motherboard and basically get the CPU/AIO cooler for free.

With that said, yeah, this is a great deal and probably the best it'll be for a while.

I've been to the brick and mortar stores in the SF Bay Area and they have been great.

Since the 9800X3D released in 2024, I have never seen it go below $400 and I doubt it ever will unless in the used/secondhand market.

Dunno, my firewall flagged it as suspicious. I'd avoid the link provided at a minimum.

Micron is only going to make it worse...

Maybe the govt wants consumer computing out of reach and herd us into cloud computing
