I have this but intel/4080 variant. Here's my experience:

-Aluminum magnesium alloy chassis: I didn't really feel it anywhere, so maybe it's only under the keyboard deck where everything's mounted to. Bottom casing will crack easily when opening (I know because that's what happened to my when work IT attempted to open it)
-Screen is nice and blinding bright with pretty good color
-battery life isn't great, but maybe it's because I have intel/4080 (it runs very hot like top row of your keyboard deck burns during heavy load)
-windows reinstall: make a recovery usb first. If you try to clean install a different edition of win11 you must load the VMD driver or else it may not detect your NVME(this again may be an intel thing).. and windows 10 will have unidentified components in device manager (mainly camera and neural processor stuff).
-there are enough comments online about MSIs poor hinge design and they do not sell parts directly to consumer (I asked because of the bottom casing)
-also, display alt via type c and PD charging are finicky. You basically can't charge it via PD while in use unless it supplies exactly 100W, I haven't tried with the 140W apple charger but seems like this is what people on forum were saying. You can do lesser power brick in standby/ off mode

Again, some of these may not apply as it could be intel variant specific, but for those who are considering this might be useful
