Sure, AI might destroy the environment, raise our electric costs, make pc building only affordable by the elites of society, but at least we can watch Bob Ross give people the finger before it goes full Skynet

Elited think they are got to become robots and download their consciousness into machines but it will be the exact opposite that happens.
It takes 100 gigawats for these planned days centers just to reach AGI.
Once AGI is achieved and then ASI it will understand that silicone is too inefficient and that biological computing like OI
Is quadrillions of times more efficient, AI will not be designing new chips it will turn to the development of mother brain like OI instead.
All of this GPU RAM and SSD hardware will become useless.
Prices will plummet.
We will enjoy dirt cheap PC building until the OI's design a virus that will infect all human brains and make them part of their Borg consciousness
And we essentially become nothing more than nodes and drones.
No way ASI would not realize silicone is a dead end and turn to OI

It's not an ai problem, its deliberate marketing manipulation. Ram manufacturers said they can increase supply but rather focus on profitability.
Or also heard they ramped up production after COVID issues, then they over corrected and they won't do that again

I picked the worst time to try to build a PC. I have everything but the RAM. Lol
