Careful buying anything razer from Amazon. My son saved up his money to buy $50 razer mouse (expensive for a 5th grader). We ordered it from amazon, fulfilled by amazon. Mouse broke 4 months later. Tried to get the warranty repair, and Razer said we didn't buy from "an authorized seller". I fought with them for weeks and eventually just bought my son a replacement (NOT RAZER) mouse.
I will never buy anything from these jokers again, and I have made it my mission to cost them far more than the $50 they stole from a child in lost sales.

there's a reason this is under $15 because it's the only 6.4K dpi version. The newer V3 wired version is 30K dpi. So if you're gifting or buying it for gaming the V3 30k is an actual limited time sale now $39.99 from $69.99. https://www.amazon.com/DeathAdder...B0B6XTDJS1 That's also a 43% savings

I bought the 30k version and still sucked at the game.

In real life 6.4k dpi is more than enough, you waste money on high dpi mouse.
Mixed feelings on Razer.
Yes, the quality is trash.
But, it's a $13 mouse.
Go into it thinking of one of those off-brand controllers you gave your cousin or friend to play on your gaming console as a kid. Nothing inherently wrong with that as long as your expectations are in line with reality.

It's not actually the dpi that is the problem, it's the sensor.
The mouse can lose tracking and spin out in fps or any other fast pace games by swiping the mouse too fast or slamming/placing it down at a uneven angles with this mouse because the sensor isn't as good. I've had it done loads of times in the past playing counterstrike when I had these old mice.
The DPI adverts is just a number they use for marketing purposes. No one is actually going to use anything more than like 2 or 3k dpi IRL. The DPI setting above around ten thousand is just just done through software. There's no physical way anyone is squeezing 64,000 dots an inch out that tiny hole on the bottom.
The modern sensors from newer mice don't have the spinout problem no matter how hard you attempt to do it.
