But fit the most comfortable and secure I've experienced with any variety/version of AirPods. The Pro 2's would want to slip out of my ears after a run. The 3's are snug but I don't even realize they are in. They've yet to fell like they were falling out.
The bonus feature of translation and heart rate are nice too. The latter is especially great when my AW is about to conk out just before a run.
Also bad reviews of Apple products are expected. Lots of Apple hater hobbyists out there. And as for the rate of return, that's completely anecdotal because neither Apple nor any of its partners release that kind of information.
Maybe your best friend is manager at a Best Buy, but that's one store of many. Moreover people return items for lots of reasons other than dissatisfaction. For example, buyer's remorse, especially with expensive items bought on emotion rather than for an actual use case.
Community Reviews
AirPods Pro 3 are being praised for stronger noise cancellation, a more secure fit, and a bassier, livelier sound than Pro 2, with transparency mode and run-friendly comfort standing out. The heart rate and translation features also add useful extras, especially for workouts and meetings. The main knocks are that the tuning can be worse for midrange-heavy music, fit still varies by ear, and battery longevity remains a concern. At this price, they look best for buyers who want Apple earbuds with improved ANC and fit.
Commuters and flyers wanting stronger active noise cancellation, because the noise blocking is noticeably better than AirPods Pro 2 in noisy environments.
Frequent runners needing earbuds that stay locked in place, because the fit is more secure and they stop slipping out during runs.
Listeners who prefer a bassier, more lively tuning, because the sound is tuned warmer and can be more fun for electronic music.
People who rely on transparency mode for everyday awareness, because it is described as a clear improvement over AirPods Pro 2.
Midrange-focused listeners who want neutral sound, because the midrange can sound noticeably worse and the tuning is less accurate.
People upgrading from AirPods Pro 2 for a dramatic ANC jump, because the improvement is incremental rather than transformative.
Shoppers expecting long battery life without replacement, because the battery can wear down after a few years and the device is effectively disposable.
Buyers with sensitive ears who need a universally comfortable fit, because the tips can cause pain or blisters and comfort varies by ear shape.

Can anyone confirm? That's been my primary concern as I don't like overly bass-y sound (prefer more flat).

My friend's AirPods Pro 2 lasted 3 years, then the battery wasn't lasting nearly as long. Same with her Apple Watch SE.
I bought a $7 pair of wired earbuds and plugged them in to a non-Apple device.
They sound great.
However, when clicking the links in the e-mails, they just take me to the Target homepage, even though they say they should be valid to redeem until 3/7/2026.
Did anyone have a similar issue?
Thanks!
